User licence & engineering responsibility
FREE BETA · VERSION 2026-10-30 · PUBLIC REGISTRATION PAUSED
WaiCalc is calculation and documentation software. It is not an engineering consultancy, certification service, design approval or a replacement for professional judgement. Read this explanation together with the beta terms, fair-use policy and privacy notice.
Your licence
While your account is active, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the hosted beta for lawful calculations and evaluation. A business user must have authority to act for their organisation. Do not share sign-in credentials or sell, sublicense, redistribute or bypass access to the hosted service. Statutory rights to interoperability and other rights that cannot lawfully be restricted remain intact. Public document formats and third-party components retain their respective permissions.
Your documents remain yours
You retain rights in your inputs, documents and original work. WaiCalc claims no ownership of your engineering work. This licence does not transfer ownership of the software. Download your editable files and backups locally. Closing a tab or losing access can end the working session; there is no server document archive to recover.
What you must verify
Before relying on any result, a suitably qualified person must independently check source data, units, signs and axes, assumptions, material values, safety factors, applicable standards, boundary conditions, mathematical models, software limitations, formulas, numerical convergence, results and conclusions. A green check, rendered formula, successful validation or AI statement is not certification that a design is safe or legally compliant.
AI assistance and safety-critical decisions
You choose and control your own external AI service. AI may invent facts, select the wrong model or produce plausible but incorrect calculations. Do not use an unverified output as the sole basis for construction, manufacturing, commissioning or any decision where failure could cause injury, property damage or environmental harm. Obtain independent engineering verification and any required professional approval before such use. Neither a trial nor complimentary access creates an engineer-client engagement.
Problems and support
Stop relying on a suspected faulty result, preserve your own work and contact support@waicalc.com. Share a minimal non-confidential reproduction rather than credentials or proprietary project data. Corrections to the software do not retrospectively approve earlier calculations.
