Beta terms & limits of liability
VERSION beta-2026-10-30 · FREE BETA · NO AUTOMATIC PAYMENT
These terms describe the proposed free beta. Public registration remains paused while the legal operator and launch information are completed. The company page identifies the outstanding operator details; WaiCalc is a product name, not a statement that a company with that name is registered. These terms do not retrospectively replace terms already accepted by an existing tester.
1. Access and licence
The user licence and engineering responsibility explanation forms part of these terms when accepted. Access is time-limited and linked to your verified account. Trial duration, expiry and admitted-request allowance are shown before registration and in Account. No payment card, paid subscription, overage charge or automatic paid renewal is included. Complimentary access is not a promise of permanent service. Account sharing, interference, unlawful use and bypassing security are prohibited.
2. Your professional decisions
You are responsible for the data and work you supply and for arranging independent, competent verification before using results. WaiCalc supplies a software tool, not project-specific engineering advice, supervision, certification or regulatory approval. No output, AI assistance or support interaction transfers the role of responsible designer or engineer to the software operator unless a separate written professional-services agreement expressly says so.
3. Beta quality and availability
The beta is experimental and can contain calculation, modelling, presentation, compatibility or availability defects. Features may change or the beta may end. No promise of uninterrupted availability, error-free results or fitness for an undisclosed engineering purpose is made. Save local editable files and independent backups. These statements do not exclude an express obligation or guarantee that applies under mandatory law.
4. Limits of liability
For business users only, to the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost business opportunities or loss resulting from use of outputs without the independent checks described above. For business users only, total contractual liability arising from this free beta is limited to DKK 1,000 in aggregate, to the extent that such a limitation is lawful and reasonable in the circumstances. A separate signed agreement may provide different terms.
These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, deliberate wrongdoing, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, mandatory product liability, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. For consumers, statutory rights, remedies and mandatory protections apply; the business-only monetary cap and indirect-loss exclusion do not apply. A disclaimer does not make unsafe software safe, remove a legal duty, or prevent a claim from being brought.
5. Ending access and changes
You can stop trial or complimentary access in Account without payment. Suspension for abuse must be proportionate; contact support to question or resolve a restriction. If the beta is discontinued or materially changed, reasonable advance notice will be provided where practicable, with an opportunity to download work. Essential security action may need to be immediate. Material contractual changes require clear notice and any acceptance required by law; mere publication does not silently replace existing agreements.
6. Future subscriptions
No paid plan is offered by these terms. A future paid offer requires separate agreement to price including applicable tax, payment interval, duration, renewal, cancellation, applicable withdrawal rights and complaint information before payment. A beta account is never consent to a future charge.
7. Law, complaints and contact
Danish law applies subject to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence. No exclusive business venue is imposed on consumers. Contact support@waicalc.com. The legal operator, public business address, registration details and any required complaint-body information must be completed before public enrolment opens. If a provision is unenforceable, mandatory law governs that provision; the remainder applies only to the extent lawful.
